ATTRIBUTION PROGRAM FOR REFERRING WORK TO
INTELLIVEN
Payment Schedule
Transfer of committed work
- 10% on all work that we do that is sold without any help from us. Thus,
if someone sells a $1.2 MM engagement and turns it over to us, (s)he gets 10% or $120K.
Lead referral with continued involvement
- Continued involvement means involvement in the sale of work, not its execution.
- 10% on all work under $100K if the work results from a lead that
someone has turned over to us and the person continues to be involved in the sale.
- Then, 7.5% on the next $400K (i.e. up to $500K total), 5% on the next
$500K (to $1 MM), and 1% after that.
- Thus, a $1.2 MM project, under this scenario, would
result in a commission of 10% of 100K + 7.5% of $400K + 5% of $500K + 1% of
$200K or $67K (5.6% total commission).
Lead referral with no further involvement
- 10% on all work under $100K if the work results from a lead
that someone has turned over to us and the person has no further involvement with it.
- Then, 5% on the next $400K (i.e. up to $500K total), and 1% after that.
- Thus a $1.2 MM project, under this scenario, would
result in a commission of 10% of $100K + 5% of $400K + 1% of $700K or $37K
(3.1% total commission).

Follow-on work
- If the person brings us additional work or leads
at the same client, the above commission structure applies with one modification.
If the person has no further involvement with the client,
we will apply the commission structure under lead referral with no further
involvement above to cumulative billings for 12 months after the person's last
contact with the client.
- Thus, if someone brought
us a lead and continued to be involved in what turned out to be a $300K
sale, (s)he would receive a commission of 10% of $100K and 7.5% of $200K
or $25K (8.3% total commission).
- If the person then had no
further involvement with the client, and we then grew the account by
another $500K over the next 12 months, so that total billings were $800K,
(s)he would receive an additional 5% of $200K + 1% of $300K or $13K.
- The above commission structure applies to billings,
not payments. Thus, for example, if a
client paid us in month 15 for work we did in month 12, the commission
structure would apply to that work.
Executive Operating Reviews
- One of our service
offerings is the executive operating review, a meeting in which we review
the client's situation, suggest ways (s)he can improve his/her operation,
and often discover opportunities for additional work. The fee for these meetings is typically
$2500, and they often occur on a regular (e.g. monthly) basis.
- Should someone help us land such a review, the
commission structure above applies. Thus, if the person were involved
with the sale for six months, and six operating reviews occurred during that time,
(s)he would receive 10% of (6 * $2500) or $1.5K.
- Assume that, after the six
months, the person ceased to be involved with the client. If we then
generated $185K in additional
work from the client over the next year, resulting in total billings of
$200K, the person who initially helped us land the account would receive
10% of $85K + 5% of $100K or $13.5K.
Payment timing
We will pay commissions within 10 business days
of receipt of payment from the client. If the client does not pay us,
we will not pay the commission.
Multiple persons involved
If more than one person is involved in referring
the same piece of work, we will split the fees calculated per the above between
them based on their relative contribution to the sale.
Acceptance of work
IntelliVen has the sole right to decide whether
to accept business referred to us. We further reserve the right to
negotiate the terms under which we accept this work.
