Our senior staff has extensive
experience in operating and senior management roles in professional services
and high technology businesses and in strategic and financial planning.

Stephen C. Messner

Peter F. DiGiammarino,
CEO, has over 25 years of experience turning nascent ideas into powerful
and successful businesses. He has successfully run product, services,
operations, services, and exchange businesses.
Most recently,
Peter served as President of the Touchstone Consulting Group, an IntelliVen
client, where he helped guide it from $6 MM in revenues and 20 people
to $20 MM and 110 people in just three years.
Earlier,
he served as President of Aquilent, another IntelliVen client, where he
helped pull this $20 MM government IT services company out of Commerce
One, a $400 MM corporation, and stood it up as a successful independent
venture in six months.
Before
founding IntelliVen, Peter was Senior Vice President and General Manager
at SAIC, a leading systems integrator, where he defined and launched electronic
commerce practices and guided the development of early-stage information
exchange companies.
Prior
to that, he was a Senior Vice President and General Manager at BTG, another
systems integrator, where he was a member of the Executive Committee responsible
for business units selling operations services to civilian agencies and
where he restored very unprofitable business units to consistent profitability
exceeding plan.
Before
that, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Hyperion Software
Company, a $200 MM worldwide provider of business information software.
While there, he increased sales growth rates and exceeded Wall Street
expectations every quarter.
Earlier
in his career, Peter spent 19 years at American Management Systems, a
leading management consulting and systems development firm, where he founded
and managed its Finance Industry Group. Under his leadership, it
grew to $185 MM in annual sales and nearly 2000 people, serving clients
around the world with consistent 20%+ growth and 15-20% margins.
Peter
earned a BS in an interdisciplinary major in computer science, economics,
and mathematics from the University of Massachusetts and an SM from MIT’s
Sloan School of Management.

Stephen C.
Messner, President, has over 20 years of experience in
business/corporate development, financial strategy and management, operations,
and strategic planning. Until recently, he was CFO of the Touchstone
Consulting Group, an IntelliVen client, where he built its financial infrastructure
and put the funding in place to support the company’s 100% annual growth.
Previously, he was a senior vice president at Aquilent, a government IT
systems development firm and IntelliVen client, where he led its biggest
project, the design of the U.S. Postal Service Web site, growing project
revenues 20% and motivating a demoralized team. He also served as
a financial advisor to Aquilent’s management during its buyout of the
company from Commerce One.
Before co-founding IntelliVen, he co-founded and led New World Ventures,
L.L.C., a management consulting firm that helped clients, ranging from
start-ups to the Fortune 50, plan and launch new initiatives.
Earlier, Steve worked for Mercer Management Consulting, a leading management
consulting firm; high technology start-ups in engineering, marketing,
and sales; Lehman Brothers; and Bain & Company, another leading consulting
firm.
He received a BA and an MS in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University,
an MS in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and
an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
